design of expandable banner - with testdrive booking option and drawing maps from main mercedes database
aimed at the older more discerning customer of MB, this banner was to promote the E-Class release, a large and agile saloon with ample home comforts. based around the idea of microsoft outlook (if it was on a mac) the ad trys to talk to the consumer in language that would be familiar to them in the everyday. the design was meant to be very corporate and polished, but then with the detail being in the panel animation and interaction.
giving the option to be able to enter mobile phone details to recieve an appointment for a testdrive, and also utilising the existing MB database to provide nearest dealer information, the design was intended to look businesslike and professional, but still with a grace and fluidity to the layout and interaction. lots of content in a small space.
