client: MERCEDES-BENZ (DAIMLER-CHRYSLER)
project: C-CLASS MICROSITE
this was a dream of a project in terms of things going smoothly. brought onto the project after the creatives had already concepted the main idea, i worked with them and a junior designer to finalise all aspects of the user experience. intial flats/look and feel were done in photoshop, but then most sections and interaction was prototyped by myself in flash to be able to use the benefits of flash to their full for certain visual effects. these prototypes were then taken and incorporated into the final build framework set up by the flash development team.
when mercedes wanted to promote the launch of their new sporty but uber comfy new C-Class model, the above the line proposition was the someone subjective 'serene agility'. this phrase was meant to convey the beauty and elegance of the way the C-Class is designed and engineered. a set of interactive games based around coloured circle theory explains 6 aspects of cars features. space, simplicity, energy, confidence, interaction and balance let you experience the car for yourself in a totally new way for mercedes.
