when exhibiting at new designers exhibition following my graduation from nottingham trent university, i recieved interest and a lot of support from the editors and creative directors of both blueprint and icon magazines. following this interest i have continued to do work for both of them at times - with the editorial illustration for blueprint and with illustrations and design for the icon design trail project and other feature illustrations.
However, the proudest moment for me was when i was asked if i would be willing to have my work in the gallery section of icon - called 'the hang'. means that i now have the claim to fame that in that particular magazine, i achieved more pages than jonathon ive. oh yes. small victories.
they also wrote some very nice words about me. thank you icon.
