what am i up to at the moment. well, with no time to myself at the moment for various different reasons (most of them good i assure you) im finding it difficult to complete the many side projects and things that i want to learn, however, i am endeavouring to sneak some of my own work into any spare moment that i can grab.
aswell as properly developing my as 2.0 skills and forcing myself to code properly (after a couple of actionscript courses and aquiring mr macromedia as a new friend, i thought it was probably time i stopped noncing around) my new project is to learn and get really damn good at processing...
for those who dont know (and i only found out about it through lovely oli at work) processing is an amazing java based language/open source programme that you can use in a similar way to actionscript to do animation and algorithmic based graphics, BUT with amazingly cool functionality to be able to make graphics respond to sounds in a very comprehensive way blah blah blah...

all that i need to do next is to wait for my new macbook to arrive and get making some bleepy electronic music of my own (speaking of which, check out the site of a friend of a friend. a pairing by the name of achrid - theyre amazing) and then i can fulfil my somewhat distant dream of getting signed to warp records and doing my own bonkers visuals.
hmmm. its a dream but one that keeps me smiling even in the darkest of times.
